The Lion and The Mouse

A Lion lay asleep within the forest, his nice head resting on his paws. A timid very little Mouse discovered him unexpectedly, and in her fright and haste to induce away, ran across Lion’s nose. Roused from his nap, the Lion ordered his paw angrily on the small creature to kill her.

“Spare me!” begged the poor Mouse. “Please let ME go and a few days i will be able to, sure enough, repay you.”

The Lion was abundantly pleased to suppose that a Mouse may ever facilitate him. however, he was generous and eventually let the Mouse go.

Some days later, whereas stalking his prey within the forest, the Lion was caught within the toils of a hunter’s web. Unable to free himself, he stuffed the forest together with his angry roaring. The Mouse knew the voice and quickly found the Lion troubled within the web. Running to at least one of the nice ropes that sure him, she gnawed it till it compounds, and shortly the Lion was free.

“You laughed once I aforementioned I’d repay you,” aforementioned the Mouse. “Now you see that even a Mouse will facilitate a Lion.”

Kindness isn’t wasted.
